Dunggiir visits Explore and Develop Emu Plains

The children of E&D Emu Plains were so excited when Dunggiir arrived.

They couldn't wait to show him around our centre and introduce him to the different rooms we have.

First up, the children in the Dolphin Junior Preschool Room said their Acknowledgement of Country for Dunggiir.

He loved hearing the tapping of the sticks.

They also took Dunggiir out to the flag poles where they proudly flew the Aboriginal, Australian and Torres Strait Islander flags.

Dunggiir was so impressed that the children were able to explain the meaning meanings of the colours on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait flags.

One of the favourite activities that the children enjoyed with Dunggiir, was sharing their 8 Ways Project with him. The children in the Dolphin Room have been interested in Australian Birds.
