Aunty Fay Muir is a respected Boon Wurrung and Wamba Wamba Elder, a First Nations community leader, and Koori Court Elder. A passionate Language Specialist, she works in prisons teaching First Nations languages and collaborates on creative language revival projects.

Aunty Fay is a trusted cultural advisor across all levels of Victoria’s education system, guiding students and educators with deep knowledge and care. Her contributions have been recognised with inductions into both the Victorian Honour Roll of Women and the Victorian Aboriginal Honour Roll in 2020. Through her storytelling, Aunty Fay shares culture, history, and wisdom—inviting readers to learn, reflect and connect.
