Allison Cadzow Collections
Allison Cadzow is a historian and writer with a strong focus on Aboriginal history, environmental history and community storytelling. A Research Associate at the Australian National University, she is the co-author of Rivers and Resilience: Aboriginal people on Sydney’s Georges River (2009), which was shortlisted for the 2010 NSW Premier’s History Awards. Allison has co-edited influential works including Nelson Aboriginal Studies and Brokers and Boundaries: Colonial Exploration in Indigenous Territory. Her work spans academic research, exhibitions and public history projects, and she has contributed to both the National Museum of Australia and community-based initiatives.
