We were very excited to share our site and wonderful outdoor environment with Jumperoo.

The children set up a central spot for Jumperoo to live, and they loved to grab and show Jumperoo what they were doing.

They made Jumperoo books, read to Jumperoo, art work, and pictures, taking inspiration from Aboriginal artists, symbols and books for their work.

The best day was when we took Jumperoo to our kindy forest, in the vacant land next door to our site. The children gave Jumperoo a tour, including the bush tucker we have growing and Indigenous plants.

The children loved to share information about Kaurna people who are the owners of the land we meet on.

It was a defining moment when the children heard Jumperoo was from Dharug Country, this really helped the children to understand that their are many other Aboriginal Mobs all over Australia, not just Kaurna people.

Seeing a visual item like Jumperoo just helped to put into perspective the Aboriginal map and bring it to life.

They shared Kaurna language with Jumperoo and learnt Dharug language. It was such a great experience. Thank you for sending Jumperoo to us.
