About Natashia Curtin
Natashia Curtin is a children’s author and illustrator who grew up in a Yolngu township in the Northern Territory and later in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Surrounded by stories and sketchbooks, her love of books and art started early – long before computer games arrived on the scene.
Now based in Melbourne, Natashia brings humour, heart and a unique cultural lens to her storytelling. Her playful and expressive illustrations are a key part of her work, capturing the everyday adventures of childhood with warmth and wit.
When she’s not drawing or writing, Natashia enjoys boogie-boarding, music and spending time with her family – though she still refuses to eat rockmelon.
