Jane Harrison is an acclaimed playwright and author, and a proud descendant of the Muruwari people of New South Wales. Her debut play, Stolen, a powerful exploration of the Stolen Generations, has toured nationally and internationally to the UK, Hong Kong, and Japan, earning the Kate Challis RAKA Award in 2002.
With an MA in Playwriting from Queensland University of Technology, Jane continues to captivate audiences with works like The Visitors, featured in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s 2014 Cybec Electric Series. Her writing extends beyond the stage, with essays published in a range of literary journals.
Jane lives in Melbourne with her two daughters, where she continues to amplify First Nations voices through storytelling.
