Our mascot finally arrived to our little school in Tasmania. We began our introduction by looking at all the mascot options and getting super excited.

I then revealed the mascot to the class and videoed the sounds of their reactions. Our group is super thrilled that we received Warendji.

Warendji also made an appearance to our NAIDOC Week Dance Group. This is a group of students who are experimenting with some Aboriginal dance during lunch times.

A cultural advisor has taught us some dancing options also. We are hoping to share their performance during our NAIDOC assembly.

Warendji loved visiting our classroom cave!!

He was really proud of all the amazing inspired Aboriginal cave paintings.

Warendji also loved going into the cave and noticing some of the petroglyphs students drew inside the cave.
