Frané Lessac is a multi-award-winning illustrator and author, born in the United States and now based in Fremantle, Western Australia. She has created over 40 children’s books, many of which celebrate the natural world and cultural diversity. Her richly coloured, naive-style artwork is instantly recognisable and has captivated children around the world.
