Q: How long is the Programming and Planning Seminar?
A: The Programming and Planning Seminar is approximately 4 and a half hours long. This includes a 30-minute lunch break.
Q: Is there a payment plan?
A: Yes, via AfterPay. Choose AfterPay at checkout for more details.
Q: Is there a group rate?
A: No there is no group rate for the Programming and Planning Seminar.
Q: I don't live in Sydney, can I still attend?
A: Yes. If you can travel to the location of the seminar you are welcome to attend. Travel and accommodation are not included in the ticket price.
Q: I have purchased the Programming and Planning Seminar on behalf of someone on my team, how do I update their email address for communications?
A: Please contact us at info@kooricurriculum.com including the email address used for the purchase and the new email address.
Q: I have purchased multiple individual seats for the Programming and Planning Seminar for my team, how do I ensure they are sent their link to join?
A: Please contact us at info@kooricurriculum.com including your order number and the email addresses to be included in communications.
Q: Do you offer refunds on the Programming and Planning Seminar?
A: Tickets are sold on a strictly no-refund basis. But in the event that the Programming and Planning Seminar is cancelled, you will be refunded the face value of the ticket. If the event is postponed due to COVID19 we will give you the option to have a ticket for the next event. The right is reserved to vary advertised schedules to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and sessions where necessary.
Q: What COVID precautions are you taking?
A: We’ll be doing everything we can to make our event as COVID-preventative as possible. Social distancing will be encouraged, as well as hand sanitiser available on the premises. We recommend bringing a mask as a precaution for instances where you are unable to be 2 metres away from others. If you’re feeling sick leading up to the event we strongly recommend you stay home instead.
Q: What are the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for this event?
A: Following the guidelines put in place by the NSW Government, there is no requirement to provide proof of vaccination to enter the venue.
Q: I can no longer attend the Programming and Planning Seminar, can I reschedule?
A: We understand that availability can change, if you let us know by close of business 3 weeks before the start of the Programming and Planning Seminar that you cannot attend then we can see if we have another date and time for you to join, this may not be in 2022.
Q: It is less than 3 weeks until the Programming and Planning Seminar and I can no longer attend, can I have a refund?
A: Unfortunately we require 3 weeks' notice prior to the seminar date, please contact us at info@kooricurriculum.com to discuss options. A fee may be charged for changing dates.

Q: Is the Programming and Planning Seminar live and do I need to attend on a certain day or time, or will recordings be available?
A: Yes the Programming and Planning Seminar is live. There will be no recordings of the live webinars. You will need to attend on the 19th of November at 10:00 AM.
Q: Are copies of the books mentioned in the Programming and Planning Seminar part of the price?
A: No. The books mentioned in the Programming and Planning Seminar are not included, some of the books are able to be purchased in the Koori Curriculum store, and others can be purchased through book retailers such as Amazon or through the author's website directly.
Q: I am a member of the Koori Curriculum Club, should I purchase the Programming and Planning Seminar?
A: Yes. If you choose to attend the Programming and Planning Seminar please let Jess know on the day as she always enjoys meeting Koori Curriculum Club members. There are no discounts offered for the Programming and Planning Seminar for Koori Curriculum Club members.
Q: What happens if I am running late on the date and time it is scheduled?
A: Please contact us at info@kooricurriculum.com and one of our team will respond as quickly as they can to support you during the event.
Q: Can I record the Programming and Planning Seminar?
A: No. We do not allow recording of our seminars. We encourage you to take notes during the event and you will be provided with workbooks
Q: Are the Programming and Planning Seminar NESA accredited?
As of 5th February 2021, NESA deregistered all early childhood providers and any courses they had accredited, this included any offered by the Koori Curriculum.
Information about the new processes for accreditation of PD courses, including course content criteria, is expected to be available on the NESA website around mid-July 2021 and applications will open shortly after that time. We aim to apply for accreditation during this time.
Early Learning Educators are able to log completed hours under Elective PD course hours as they will count equally for teachers who are completing their Maintenance of Accreditation in 2021 and 2022: https://www.educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/portal/nesa/teacher-accreditation/meeting-requirements/maintaining-accreditation/maintenance-transition-arrangements
